Connecticut Gold Coast pools face heavy salt exposure from Long Island Sound and prevailing southerlies. We run monthly corrosion inspections, sacrificial anode replacement, and premium stone-coping sealing to resist scale and pitting.
Phosphates feed algae. Lawn runoff, pet waste, and some fill water are common phosphate sources. We test quarterly and apply phosphate remover as indicated before algae blooms can establish.
